This was the first song we worked on! Gladwell sent me the beat and it was already called pad thai. One thing about me is I love some food, so Imma roll with it. First thing that came to mind was traveling around the world with the love of your life, getting to see more than your city block while avoiding daily troubles. I really wrote it for one of my best friends that moving to korea soon. I'm too broke to be able to afford to travel and visit them so this is my token to them. It just so happens our favorite spot in the city is Thai Express, so the name kinda just works full circle haha.
